Kick-Off Meeting: Introduction

We are thrilled that you have chosen to partner with Click! For Nursery. Here at Click!, we believe that the key to a successful partnership is a strong start. That’s why we’ve developed a comprehensive kick-off meeting process that helps us hit the ground running on every new partnership.

Below we will talk you through the 5 W’s of the kick-off meeting – who will be involved? What will we discuss? Where and when will the meeting take place? And most importantly, why are we doing this in the first place?

So let’s get into it!

 

1. Why do we have the kick-off meeting?

The kick-off meeting is the first step in getting a new partnership off the ground. It’s an opportunity to bring everyone together to discuss the partnership goals, timeline and to hash out all the details. More importantly, however, it’s a chance to get everyone on the same page and build some momentum for the partnership.

By the end of the meeting, everyone should know what they need to do and when they need to do it. Additionally, the kick-off meeting is a great opportunity for us to answer any questions that you may have.

By taking care of all these details up front, we set ourselves up for a smooth and successful partnership from start to finish.

 

2. What will we discuss?

In our kick-off meeting, we will discuss the following:

  • Timeline
  • Click! Calendar design and number of days
  • Who will pay the fee – the nursery or parents
  • Any changes to the Request & Photography Consent Form
  • Format for delivering the Request & Photography Consent Form
  • Where we will deliver the Click! Calendars
  • Set up on our file sharing portal
  • Advice for capturing photos
  • Next steps
  • Any other questions

We will send you an agenda beforehand, along with any documents for you to look through ahead of the meeting so that you can feel confident you are getting the most out of the meeting.

 

3. Who Will Be Involved?

The kick-off meeting will take place with a representative from Click! and the nursery manager (who we require to be in attendance). Other nursery staff may also attend.

 

4. Where & when will the meeting take place?

The meeting can take place either in-person at your nursery or online via a Microsoft Teams video call – whichever you prefer.

We will be in touch with you to arrange the meeting for a day and time that is most suitable for you.

 

After the Kick-Off Meeting: What’s Next?

Following the kick-off meeting, we will send you a summary of everything discussed in the meeting for your documentation. Additionally, we will set out in a clear format the next steps.
